Key Responsibilities

  • •Drive tech system development for Commercial Banking initiatives, with focus on data engineering and analysis, data platform enhancement, and data service support.
  • •Manage system development projects aligned with Agile and DevSecOps project management frameworks and deliver solutions to business requirements.
  • •Coordinate with software engineers and developers in HK and China to ensure delivered projects, enhancements, and support meet budget, schedule, and quality targets.
  • •Coach application developers, including performance reviews, appraisals, and personal development planning.
  • •Partner with Group/Regional Tech and provide proactive consultancy to business stakeholders on system solutions supporting revenue growth, customer experience, and operational efficiency.

Key Requirements

  • •University degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Science, Statistics, or a related discipline.
  • •IT systems development experience with minimum 2 years or more in a manager role.
  • •Proven project management experience, including managing data warehouse projects.
  • •Strong experience with Data Warehouse, Data Engineering, and Data Analytics, including knowledge of business and banking products.
  • •Proficiency with SQL, Python, RDBMS, Cloud, ETL pipelines, Kafka/event-driven data pipelines, and data visualization.
