Job Summary

Support and optimize 300mm semiconductor implant equipment for anneal and surface treatment processes. Monitor tools in a 24x7 manufacturing environment, troubleshoot mechanical/electrical/pneumatic issues, respond to alarms, and execute recovery plans. Drive yield and defect improvements, reduce operating costs, lead new tool qualification, run change-point management, and maintain SOPs and performance metrics. Collaborate cross-functionally through technical presentations.

Key Responsibilities

•Monitor implant tool performance and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and defect issues.
•Respond to alarms and execute recovery plans with technicians.
•Use software to analyze data, identify root causes, and make processing decisions.
•Lead new tool qualification, schedule/coordinate maintenance and downtime, and execute Change-Point Management (CPM).
•Revise and maintain SOPs, document daily tool activity, track performance metrics (yield, throughput, particle counts), and lead cost-reduction projects.

Key Requirements

•BS degree in Electrical, Chemical, Physics, or Mechanical Engineering (or related).
•2+ years of semiconductor experience, with knowledge of Thermal Anneal (RTP) or Surface Treatment/Dry Etch processes and equipment.
•Experience troubleshooting equipment or process failures and understanding of statistical methods.
•Experience with tool installation and setup and ability to perform structured problem-solving (e.g., 8D, 7-step).
•Ability to work in a FAB environment with PPE/clean room requirements and lift under 35 lbs.
