Key Responsibilities

  • •Provide technical supervision, monitoring, inspection, coordination, and quality control of construction activities for Smart City development.
  • •Supervise construction of roads, highways, access roads, junctions, roundabouts, and associated infrastructure.
  • •Review road alignment, profiles, grading, setting-out, and road construction shop drawings, method statements, and material submissions.
  • •Monitor earthworks, excavation, filling, compaction, subgrade/sub-base/base, asphalt works, and related pavement quality requirements; witness material and field density/compaction/asphalt testing.
  • •Coordinate roadworks with utilities and other infrastructure, manage traffic management and approvals/inspections with relevant authorities, and review as-built and handover documentation.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering.
  • •Minimum 15 years of experience in construction supervision, with at least 15 years in Roads & Highways.
  • •Minimum 10 years of experience in Smart City, infrastructure, large-scale development, or technology-enabled infrastructure projects.
  • •Minimum 10 years of relevant experience in the Middle East/GCC region (mandatory).
  • •Proficiency in spoken and written Arabic and English; Chartered Professional Engineering certification or equivalent is preferred.
