Job Summary

Oversee corporate accounting, taxation, regulatory compliance, and financial reporting for HP foreign subsidiaries. Ensure ledgers and reporting systems meet US GAAP/IFRS and regulatory requirements, manage statutory audits and tax filings (including transfer pricing), and produce accurate, timely financial reports. Partner with Finance operations, Tax, Treasury, and IT to support controllership and compliance projects, while providing support during tax litigations and assessments.

Key Responsibilities

•Oversee accounts, ledgers, and reporting systems to ensure compliance with US GAAP/IFRS and regulatory requirements.
•Handle local statutory audits, tax filings, transfer pricing, and overall regulatory compliance for a legal entity.
•Analyze financial data and present accurate, timely financial reports while monitoring progress and changes.
•Build and maintain relationships with stakeholders and business leaders to guide and influence decision-making.
•Support tax experts on litigations and tax assessment cases.

Key Requirements

•Chartered Accountant from India or Certified Public Accountant (US) is mandatory.
•Typically 4+ years of experience as a Finance Controller or Statutory Auditor.
•Experience from Big 4 is an advantage.
•Strong understanding of accounting principles (IFRS/US GAAP) and financial analysis.
•Strong analytical skills, communication, influencing, and teamwork.
