Key Responsibilities

  • •Investigate, respond to, and mediate agency matters and pre-litigation claims; handle employee litigation and arbitrations.
  • •Review and revise offer letters, agreements, and incentive plans.
  • •Counsel Human Resources and subsidiaries/affiliates on performance training, improvement, discipline, and terminations.
  • •Advise on wage and hour exemptions and compliance with FLSA and comparable state and local laws.
  • •Advise on employee accommodations, disability obligations, FMLA compliance, leaves of absence, paid sick leave, benefits, pay equity, and post-termination contractual obligations.
