Lead DevOps-focused coaching engagements in Tokyo, guiding client development teams to improve processes using software engineering practices and generative AI. You’ll design architectures that align Red Hat and partner cloud/DevOps solutions, mentor engineers, and collaborate with pre-sales, consulting, and product teams to accelerate digital transformation and deliver exceptional customer outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

•Identify and continuously resolve client DevOps challenges to earn client trust and appreciation.
•Guide development teams to deliver projects successfully while helping the organization build sustainable ongoing capabilities.
•Understand client business requirements and design/implement architectures that fit Red Hat and partner cloud/DevOps solutions.
•Collaborate closely with internal teams (Product Engineering, Business Development, Consulting, Support, Sales) to deliver excellent customer experiences.
•Serve as a trusted senior advisor to help shape technology roadmaps for clients.

Key Requirements

•Excellent software engineering experience with Web services, mission-critical systems, and CI/CD including requirements definition, design, implementation, testing and operation.
•Experience using Generative AI for development and operations
•Proven track record as a lead engineer or technical consultant solving technical challenges for your organization or clients
•Experience coaching and teaching development teams, and transforming development processes to scale
•Strong consulting fundamentals: logical thinking, problem solving, analysis, documentation, presentation, facilitation, negotiation
