Key Responsibilities

  • •Ensure OSHA compliance, including powered industrial trucks, new hire and ongoing safety training, lockout/tagout, machine guarding, chemical safety, and OSHA recordkeeping (OSHA 300 Logs)
  • •Develop and manage EHS controls, workplace hazard control strategies, and emergency response activities; lead the emergency response team
  • •Lead and coach frontline safety team members; serve as the subject matter expert for safety and security questions
  • •Chair the Safety Committee and drive improvements to building conditions and work practices; analyze safety/injury trends and develop corrective actions
  • •Conduct Job Safety Analysis (JSA), promote safe forklift operations through training/observation/coaching, and support OSHA inspections and post-accident root cause analysis

Key Requirements

  • •5+ years occupational safety experience with knowledge of manufacturing/industrial EHS
  • •Four-year degree in business, safety, or a related field
  • •CSP, GSP, or ASP through the Board of Certified Safety Professionals
  • •Expertise in OSHA compliance, especially with powered industrial trucks and lockout/tagout
  • •Strong communication and presentation skills to influence across all levels
