Job Summary

Partner with Commercial leaders across Sales, Customer Success, Service, Commercial Operations, Partnerships, and Business Development to support the full employee lifecycle. Drive manager coaching, org design, workforce planning, and engagement survey action planning. Handle employee relations casework (including PIPs, policy violations, and conflict resolution) in the Philippines and US, support change management, and translate people data into actionable recommendations while collaborating with Recruiting, DEI, OD, and Total Rewards.

Key Responsibilities

•Serve as a trusted advisor to Commercial client groups across the full employee lifecycle, including team effectiveness, manager coaching, org design, workforce planning, and engagement survey action planning.
•Support employee relations casework in the Philippines and US, including PIPs, policy violations, and conflict resolution, partnering with managers to document and reduce legal risk.
•Support managers and teams through organizational change by driving clarity and alignment during transitions.
•Execute HR programs tailored to Thumbtack’s needs, including performance cycles, calibrations, and engagement survey insights.
•Analyze people data to identify trends and translate findings into recommendations for managers and leaders while championing culture and values.

Key Requirements

•6+ years of experience in HR with HRBP experience.
•Ability to work North American business hours (PST Preferred).
•Strong communication skills and the judgment to build trust and facilitate tough conversations.
•Experience supporting high-volume frontline or commercial teams (e.g., Sales, Success, Customer Service, Business Development, Commercial Ops) in fast-paced environments.
•Strong knowledge of performance management, employee relations, and change management.
