Job Summary

Maintain, troubleshoot, and repair industrial equipment in a materials recycling pre-processing plant, covering both electrical and mechanical systems. Perform routine inspections and maintenance on conveyors, motors, pumps, and crushers; diagnose wiring, control panels, and PLC/control systems; and handle mechanical repairs including bearings, belts, and hydraulic systems. Follow plant safety guidelines, support compliance with OSHA and regulatory standards, maintain maintenance records, and assist with installation/commissioning and equipment upgrades.

Key Responsibilities

•Promote and follow all plant safety guidelines and comply with OSHA and other regulatory standards.
•Conduct routine maintenance, inspections, and repairs on electrical and mechanical equipment including conveyors, motors, pumps, crushers, and related plant systems.
•Diagnose and resolve electrical issues involving wiring, control panels, and PLC/control systems.
•Perform mechanical repairs such as bearing replacements, belt adjustments, and hydraulic system maintenance.
•Support installations and commissioning of new equipment, implement upgrades/modifications, maintain maintenance records, and report equipment issues or safety concerns.

Key Requirements

•High school graduation or equivalent is required.
•Associate degree in electrical/mechanical engineering is preferred.

•Ability to read, write, and understand warning labels, instructions, and signs; willingness to learn with training provided.
