Key Responsibilities

  • •Cure products that are cured in tumbler, including loading and unloading tumblers.
  • •Set up, tear down, operate equipment, and adjust speeds/pressure for proper gains of pumped products on the injector.
  • •Operate and maintain the tow motor safely and keep it in clean, running condition.
  • •Pull a vacuum on the tumbler, maintain vacuum during operation, and correct routine curing/tumbling problems.
  • •Prevent product contamination, perform housekeeping duties, rotate through job positions as needed, and complete paperwork/SAP functions.

Key Requirements

  • •Perform daily prechecks and follow all safety, food safety, GMP, and SQF requirements.
  • •Operate the brine transfer system and tumblers using control panels and auto-start systems.
  • •Formulate brines using a hand-held calculator and/or computer, and read a salometer to handle brines correctly.
  • •Operate and keep a tow motor clean, safe, and in proper working condition, including obtaining a Class III tow motor certification.
  • •Complete required paperwork and SAP functions, and be willing to work overtime and/or weekends as needed.
