Job Summary

Lead the technical systems work for a connected medical device platform, owning a device product lane from concept through end-of-life. You’ll drive execution across hardware, firmware, manufacturing, validation, connectivity, and field performance, and set executive-level tradeoffs around performance, reliability, cost, and quality. Partner with engineering teams, suppliers, and contract manufacturers while improving manufacturing diagnostics, testing, traceability, and running root-cause investigations across devices and data systems.

Key Responsibilities

•Own a device product lane from concept through end-of-life.
•Act as technical systems owner across hardware, firmware, manufacturing, validation, connectivity, and field performance.
•Lead cross-functional execution across Engineering, Product, Hardware Operations, Supply Chain, Quality, Regulatory, Clinical, Manufacturing, and external partners.
•Drive executive-level tradeoffs across performance, reliability, manufacturability, cost, schedule, quality, and member experience.
•Mentor engineers and build organizational capability across the device platform, including manufacturing diagnostics and root-cause investigations.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: USD 220,000 - 238,000 annually

Key Requirements

•12+ years building connected hardware, embedded systems, or medical device products from concept through commercialization and sustaining.
•Strong embedded systems, electronics, systems engineering, and product architecture experience.
•Experience across connected device development: hardware, firmware, connectivity, manufacturing validation, production readiness, and field performance.
•Experience with design/engineering validation and production validation, including production ramp and sustaining engineering.
•Experience in regulated, quality-driven environments (preferably medical device/digital health) and working with contract manufacturers, suppliers, and manufacturing teams.
