Key Responsibilities

  • •Set the architecture for a unified network visibility platform across topology, configuration, telemetry, active measurement, change intelligence, and self-service experiences.
  • •Build an authoritative network model to connect physical topology, logical overlays, configurations, and service dependencies, and detect configuration errors during cluster bring-up.
  • •Define telemetry and measurement strategy using reachability tests, streaming signals, traffic and capacity data, and change/maintenance events.
  • •Deliver health, path, blast-radius, and self-service exploration products so customers can answer network questions independently.
  • •Establish interfaces, data contracts, quality standards, and operating mechanisms, and drive cross-functional roadmaps with clear tradeoffs while mentoring engineers.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience, plus 10+ years of relevant industry experience.
  • •Record of architecting and operating large-scale software or infrastructure platforms using Python, Go, or comparable systems languages.
  • •Deep expertise in at least one area (network topology and sources of truth, telemetry and active measurement, or observability products) with breadth across the others.
  • •Strong data center and backbone networking fundamentals across connectivity, routing, overlays, services, and customer-visible failures.
  • •Hands-on observability-stack experience (Prometheus, Grafana, OpenTelemetry) including active/synthetic monitoring and Kubernetes-based deployments.
