Key Responsibilities

  • •Lead implementation and roll-out of global lab guidelines, procedures, and standards across all labs in the Asia region, translating global requirements into clear local practices.
  • •Partner with the Zurich Global Lab Lead to provide feedback and strategic input, and drive cross-functional collaboration with product development, sourcing, quality, and compliance teams.
  • •Serve as the regional point of transparency for laboratory expectations across Tier 1 and Tier 2 partners and escalate operational issues and risks to Zurich labs.
  • •Establish and maintain local governance structures aligned with global lab policies, ensuring standardized practices and reducing regional variability.
  • •Coordinate internal audits, capability assessments, and compliance checks, remediating findings with global and regional quality teams.
  • •Ensure data integrity, traceability, and reporting for lab data across regional facilities, and oversee reporting systems and data governance frameworks.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Science, Engineering, Materials, Chemistry, or related field (advanced degree preferred).
  • •10+ years of experience in laboratory leadership, quality systems, or testing operations within the textile/apparel/consumer product industries.
  • •Proven experience developing and implementing guidelines, governance frameworks, and standardized operating procedures.
  • •Strong collaboration skills and experience working with global cross-functional teams.
  • •Demonstrated ability to drive improvement projects, audits, and compliance across complex environments.
