Key Responsibilities

  • •Read and understand contract documents, drawings, specifications, and health/safety measures, including updates.
  • •Perform survey work under the Resident Engineer’s direction and develop control points using photogrammetric records.
  • •Record and verify measurements and calculations during surveys, including traverse closures and bench circuits.
  • •Coordinate with the contractor’s surveyor on priorities and schedules, and report discrepancies or technical problems.
  • •Support work quality and safety by monitoring health and safety requirements and checking completed work for line and grade conformance.
