Key Responsibilities

  • •Identify and implement policy initiatives to develop and maintain FSRA conduct and prudential regulatory frameworks in response to industry evolution and international developments.
  • •Manage large policy projects from initiation through planning, benchmarking, development, consultation, publication, and implementation of final legislation.
  • •Manage the consultation process by collating and analyzing feedback to implement proposed legislative changes.
  • •Prepare board papers and provide policy advisory and peer-reviewed inputs to support internal FSRA and ADGM initiatives and legislative drafting.
  • •Lead and manage the policy team with accountability for objectives, empowering and mentoring talent while addressing performance issues.

Key Requirements

  • •Minimum 10–12 years of policy development and/or regulatory experience, including in the digital asset sector, ideally within financial services or government.
  • •Experience analyzing innovative product offerings and business models, assessing associated risks, and proposing recommendations to address them.
  • •Experience with international standards such as BCBS, IOSCO, IAIS, and FSB.
  • •Strong stakeholder management skills with excellent influencing and negotiation capabilities.
  • •Strong project management, planning, organizational, and analytical skills, with excellent written and oral communication (business English).
