Key Responsibilities

  • •Exceed measurable sales objectives and expand the Arista brand within a named list of 12–15 enterprise-level accounts in the Houston metro area.
  • •Use a consultative selling approach with key client stakeholders to identify opportunities for Arista’s Open Networking platform.
  • •Work with systems engineers to design and position solutions that reduce total cost of ownership.
  • •Collaborate with technology partners to identify prospects and demonstrate solutions.
  • •Build and manage strategic account plans, channel relationships, and run demand generation activities (e.g., happy hours, lunch-n-learns, technology forums).

Key Requirements

  • •BS/BA degree (or equivalent) and 8+ years of technology sales experience.
  • •Proven track record of direct selling into target enterprise accounts and exceeding sales targets.
  • •Relevant data center or networking (LAN/WAN, SDN) industry background from a technology partner, competitor, channel partner, or end user.
  • •Strong relationships and a strong “rolodex” within the territory.
  • •Technical acumen and prior selling experience in one or more areas such as Networking, SDN, NFV, Switching, Network Automation, Routing, Data Center, Edge Computing, Network Virtualization, Hyper-converged infrastructure, or Cloud computing.
