Job Summary

Join the legal team at Vetcove to support a rapidly growing veterinary technology and pet parent healthcare platform. You’ll draft, review, and negotiate commercial agreements (SaaS, MSAs, SOWs, DPAs, and more), advise product and launch efforts, and manage risk across privacy, data security, IP, regulatory analysis, and strategic growth initiatives. Work closely with business leadership, product, operations, and finance in a highly regulated, fast-moving environment.

Job Function: Legal, Risk & Compliance

Key Responsibilities

•Draft, review, negotiate, and manage commercial agreements including SaaS agreements, MSAs, SOWs, order forms, NDAs, DPAs, vendor and distribution agreements, and partnerships.
•Partner with business leadership, product, operations, and finance to support enterprise deals and strategic initiatives.
•Advise on product development and launches by identifying legal risks and developing practical, business-oriented solutions.
•Develop expertise in evolving legal areas such as telecommunications, consumer protection, privacy, FDA, DEA, and veterinary practice/pharmacy laws.
•Translate complex legal and regulatory requirements into practical guidance for product, engineering, operations, and business teams.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: USD 180,000 - 230,000 annually

Key Requirements

•5-8 years of legal experience, including experience at a top-tier law firm.
•J.D. from an accredited law school and active membership in at least one U.S. state bar.
•Strong commercial contracting experience, particularly with SaaS/technology and enterprise customers (MSAs, SOWs, order forms, DPAs, vendor/distribution agreements).
•Excellent drafting, negotiation, and issue-spotting skills.
•Exceptional attention to detail and a proactive, ownership-oriented mindset.
