Job Summary

Design, develop, test, integrate, and document real-time embedded and application software, along with related tools, within agile teams. You’ll follow established development practices, support configuration management, participate in reviews of software components and systems, and collaborate with project managers and engineers to deliver solutions with defined scope and expectations. This onsite role is part of the Effectors Center within RTX’s Software Engineering Directorate.

Key Responsibilities

•Assist and participate in requirements, design, development, and testing of real-time embedded software, application software, and tools.
•Design, code, test, integrate, and document software solutions.
•Participate in internal review of software components and systems.
•Collaborate with project managers and other engineering professionals.
•Follow established development practices to maintain configuration management of software products.

Key Requirements

•Typically requires a STEM degree and a minimum of two years of relevant experience.
•Experience with C++ or C (or other object-oriented languages).
•Experience with hardware-software integration and embedded system testing.
•Ability to obtain an Interim Secret-level U.S. government security clearance prior to start, with U.S. citizenship required.
•Ability to obtain program access required.
