Key Responsibilities

  • •Manage the drawing process from customer approval through as-built drawing stages with an assigned drafting team.
  • •Prepare building interior/exterior layouts and electrical routing/wiring/structural configurations based on customer requirements.
  • •Design mechanical and structural systems for assigned projects, including specifying components and purchased parts.
  • •Prepares AutoCAD drawings as necessary and enter/maintain current project information in the Engineering Database while meeting schedule and deadlines.
  • •Coordinate with project management, production, customers, outside engineering/architectural firms and subcontractors; assist with minor QC issues and submit state approval documentation for code compliance.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering (or similar technical discipline) from an accredited institution.
  • •3+ years of experience as an Electrical or Mechanical Engineer working in a manufacturing environment.
  • •Familiarity with the National Electric Code and other national and local electrical/building codes.
  • •Proficiency in AutoCAD and 3D modeling software (SolidWorks preferred).
  • •Experience in the power generation/distribution industry.
