Key Responsibilities

  • •Design and maintain the Aviation Security Compliance & Assurance Framework, aligned to GCAA CAR Part VII, ICAO, IATA, IOSA/ISAGO requirements and EASP.
  • •Own and execute the compliance and assurance strategic roadmap, building assurance capability, technology, analytics, and industry benchmarking.
  • •Lead the annual compliance and assurance programme, overseeing audits, inspections, tests and exercises across stations, start-up operations, and third-party service providers.
  • •Govern AVSEC investigations by ensuring consistent methodologies, evidence standards, independence, and regulatory compliance; review and approve investigation reports and root cause analyses prior to escalation.
  • •Drive standardisation of AVSEC policies, procedures, manuals and station SOPs; maintain the compliance risk register and assurance reporting framework; oversee enterprise CAPA programmes and quality of governance.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree (Master’s preferred) in aviation security, regulatory affairs, law, audit, risk management, or related fields.
  • •10+ years in aviation security, compliance monitoring, or regulatory oversight, including 3+ years managing a compliance/assurance function and leading investigations.
  • •Knowledge of GCAA CAR Part VII, ICAO Annex 17 and GASeP, and IOSA/ISAGO requirements.
  • •Desirable: ICAO National AVSEC Inspector/Auditor certification and IATA Certified Auditor credentials.
  • •Desirable: Lead Auditor certification (ISO 9001/19011).
