Job Summary

Own end-to-end packaging development for low-complexity new products, from concept design and design lock through industrialization. Translate product briefs into consumer-centric, technically feasible, sustainable, and cost-effective primary and secondary packaging, coordinating closely with Product Development, suppliers, Contract Manufacturers, Quality, Regulatory, and Supply Chain. Independently manage projects within complexity boundaries, running validation testing, line trials, approvals, and change management while escalating complex technical decisions.

Key Responsibilities

•Translate Product Development briefs into packaging concepts, pack architecture, and manufacturing techniques to achieve decoration intent and support design lock.
•Own packaging engineering from design through industrialization, including component specifications, fill & assembly specs, and packaging BOMs.
•Coordinate technical activities with suppliers and Contract Manufacturers, including tooling development, drawings, dielines, material documentation, and master data.
•Execute packaging validation testing and support homologation, industrialization, and line trials to assess production readiness.
•Drive sustainability, value engineering, change management, project documentation, and cross-functional updates and approvals through the product lifecycle.

Key Requirements

•Bachelor’s degree in Packaging Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or Industrial Design.
•Minimum 2 years of experience in Packaging Design & Engineering, preferably in the cosmetics industry.
•Strong knowledge of packaging materials (glass, plastics, paper, metals) and packaging decoration techniques, including DFM/DFA exposure.
•Hands-on knowledge of tooling, mould development, packaging testing standards, and validation protocols.
•Proficiency in CAD software (SolidWorks), Adobe Illustrator, and/or KeyShot.
