Key Responsibilities

  • •Provide oversight by collecting, compiling, and analyzing site and design inputs (surveys, blueprints, GIS data, equipment specifications) to support due diligence and procurement package development.
  • •Coordinate, review, and approve electrical infrastructure design plans to ensure compliance with codes, ordinances, and regulations.
  • •Perform complex investigations and inspections of proposed and existing site conditions, including substation layout/bus arrangement, grounding grid design, and lightning protection.
  • •Develop construction plans, specifications, and cost estimates, including safety and phasing plans and coordination across owners and disciplines.
  • •Lead larger-scale electrical engineering projects by directing contributors, preparing and monitoring budgets, tracking hours/expenses, and supervising subcontractors, contract work, and employees.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering.
  • •10+ years of post-education experience as an electrical engineer producing design deliverables for capital projects in power generation, transmission, and distribution.
  • •Engineer license required (multi-state preferred).
  • •Highly proficient in electrical engineering principles/practices and in applying permitting and project work-related issues.
  • •Proficiency in technical writing and electrical discipline-specific design software (e.g., CADD tools) and tools used for complex deliverables.
