Key Responsibilities

  • •Lead complex civil design projects through planning, permitting, and construction, including alternative delivery projects.
  • •Lead multi-discipline project design teams and collaborate with mid-level staff locally and remotely.
  • •Interface with clients and regulatory agencies and support presentations to clients.
  • •Develop and review design and construction plans, specifications, cost estimates, and engineering reports/documentation.
  • •Conduct field inspections and provide construction administration support while mentoring engineers and design staff.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Environmental engineering (or related) and 10 years of relevant experience.
  • •Professional Engineer (PE) in New York, or ability to obtain PE licensure within 1 year of employment.
  • •Demonstrated experience producing engineering deliverables such as reports, design drawings, and specifications.
  • •Proven experience on stormwater, water, wastewater, or flood protection/resilience projects.
  • •Valid U.S. Driver’s License and ability to pass AECOM’s Motor Vehicle Records Review.
