Job Summary

Safely operate company trucks and heavy equipment to move materials and equipment to construction job sites. Perform daily pre- and post-trip inspections, maintain accurate mileage and vehicle logs, and load/unload materials. Monitor vehicle gauges, keep trucks maintained, and follow dispatch instructions, traffic laws, and company policies. Assist with general labor and additional equipment operation as needed, while mentoring less-experienced team members and promoting a safety-first work environment.

Key Responsibilities

•Safely operate company trucks and heavy equipment to move materials and equipment to job sites.
•Perform thorough daily pre- and post-trip inspections and document findings per DOT and company guidelines.
•Maintain accurate mileage and vehicle logs, and monitor vehicle gauges while reporting issues to management.
•Load and unload materials (manual unloading may be required) and assist with general labor duties.
•Follow dispatch instructions, traffic laws, and company policies; keep trucks clean and well-maintained and mentor less-experienced team members.

Key Requirements

•Current driver’s license meeting state requirements (CDL Class A with hazmat, airbrakes, and tanker endorsement required).
•Clean driving record (MVR that meets company standards).
•Ability to pass DOT pre-employment drug screen, criminal background check, and “Fit for Work” physical.
•Ability to work outdoors in extreme weather and perform physical tasks (including climbing, lifting up to 25–50 lbs, and vision to operate equipment safely).
•Commitment to safety and compliance with company procedures and regulations (OSHA and MSHA), with professionalism and a positive attitude.
