Key Responsibilities

  • •Ensure superior quality medical treatment, compassion, and understanding for every patient served at the Riyadh Care Hospital.
  • •Manage minor gynecological cases and major gynecological cases under consultant supervision, including minor procedures such as cryosurgery, insertion of IUD, D&C, and suction curettage.
  • •Investigate and manage infertility cases with ovulation induction, and manage low-risk obstetric and related antenatal/postnatal cases with consultant support for high-risk conditions.
  • •Conduct daily ward rounds for all in-patients, perform history taking and physical examinations, interpret common diagnostic tests, and document patient condition on admission sheets.
  • •Participate in on-call rota and Code Blue response, provide emergency medical care and advice, supervise junior staff, and actively engage in departmental educational and training activities.

Key Requirements

  • •Post graduate degree in Obstetrics and Gynecology.
  • •Minimum three (3) years in the specialty after obtaining a Post Graduate Degree.
  • •Current valid license to practice medicine in the area of Obstetrics and Gynecology.
  • •Registration in Saudi Medical Council and/or current license to practice medicine in Saudi Arabia as a senior registrar in Ob/Gyn.
  • •Fluent in verbal and written English, with professionalism and excellent interpersonal communication skills.
