Key Responsibilities

  • •Support operations teams by executing multi-discipline projects.
  • •Complete engineering calculations (e.g., control valve sizing, PSV sizing, piping hydraulics).
  • •Develop shutdown keys and control narratives with operations/maintenance.
  • •Support asset teams and maintenance capital projects, including justifications, planning, spend forecasting, and close out.
  • •Provide engineering expertise and documentation (e.g., drawings such as P&IDs, line lists, isometrics, plot plans) and conduct risk assessments to reduce operational risks.

Key Requirements

  • •Mechanical or chemical engineering degree with 5+ years’ relevant experience in oil and gas facilities, operations, or process engineering.
  • •Registered Professional Engineer (P.Eng) with APEGA in Alberta.
  • •Ability to authenticate deliverables within their competency.
  • •Experience with Symmetry (preferred).
  • •Must be legally eligible to work in Canada and complete a criminal background check plus references.
