Key Responsibilities

  • •Define and document network engineering standards and deliver change/transformations against created designs, ensuring smooth handover to Network Operations.
  • •Create Low Level Design (LLD) documents from High Level Design (HLD) requirements and build detailed implementation plans.
  • •Own procurement activities related to build and delivery of new network services/projects.
  • •Support architecture activities including delivery roadmap scoping and Proof of Concept (PoC) work for network engineering.
  • •Provide escalation support to Operations for complex troubleshooting of major incidents, with on-call escalation (rota basis) and potential extended hours.

Key Requirements

  • •8+ years hands-on experience designing and building resilient, scalable network solutions in a global enterprise (5,000–50,000 users) using traditional datacenters and cloud.
  • •Expert knowledge across Layer 2, Layer 3, and Layer 4–7 network and network technologies, with strong troubleshooting for network/service/application issues.
  • •Experience with network routing, switching, and network security, including Cisco and Juniper routers/switches.
  • •Familiarity with network security and SD-WAN technologies, including Check Point and Cisco ASA Firewalls, plus Cisco Silver-Peak SD-WAN.
  • •Scripting experience for automation/orchestration against an API, and relevant certifications (e.g., CCNA/CCNP and Check Point, SD-WAN, ITILv3).
