Key Responsibilities

  • •Supervise, coordinate, and control safe and efficient day-to-day milling operations.
  • •Oversee operating crews across primary crushing, copper and molybdenum concentrators, tailings storage, environmental ponds, and water systems.
  • •Initiate and expedite on-shift maintenance and repair work orders.
  • •Correct operating problems, notify senior management of prolonged production variances, and request support from other departments as needed.
  • •Approve timecards, conduct planned job evaluations and area audit inspections, run safety meetings, and perform employee performance appraisals.

Key Requirements

  • •High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • •5 years of mining experience including crushing, grinding, flotation, and dewatering.
  • •3 years of previous supervisory experience.

  • •Familiarity with a Distributed Control System (DCS) and Expert System is an asset.
