Key Responsibilities

  • •Organize aircraft and deliver structured practical training/assessments, raising required documents and ensuring logbook entries are completed according to procedures.
  • •Liaise with hangar shift managers to coordinate structured practical training work allocation and confirm compliance with the Maintenance Training Organisation Exposition.
  • •Monitor trainee performance through regular assessments, scrutinize and sign trainee logbooks, and communicate strengths/weaknesses to engineering training management.
  • •Stay current with technical publications and impart knowledge to Basic/Type trainees, ensuring adherence to safety rules, airport safety regulations, and manoeuvring area requirements.
  • •Conduct assessments for trainees in hangars, perform routine aircraft maintenance/servicing tasks, update practical training and AMEL logbook documents, and participate in final technical assessments for GCAA licensing.

Key Requirements

  • •Degree or Honours (12+3 or equivalent).
  • •8 years of experience as an approved Aircraft Maintenance Engineer.
  • •Valid UAE-GCAA CAR 66 AMEL CAT B2 or B1+B2 license with endorsements of at least two aircraft types (B777, A350, A380).
  • •Authorization issued by a CAR 145 organization compliance monitoring/quality assurance.
  • •Knowledge of UAE-GCAA CAR 66/147 and EASA Part 66/147 requirements, and ability to assess trainees and provide feedback with excellent report writing.
