Job Summary

Provide commercial and legal advice across a wide range of areas including marketing and advertising compliance, commercial contracts, brand partnerships, supply chain and property matters, sustainability/ESG compliance, and AI use in marketing content. Act as a key point of contact for the business, identify and escalate risks and issues, support critical projects, and work closely with the Head of Legal and senior legal colleagues while helping drive training and stakeholder alignment.

Key Responsibilities

•Advise the business across commercial, marketing and advertising, brand, sustainability/ESG, supply chain, property, and AI-related legal areas.
•Draft, review, and negotiate commercial contracts including wholesale agreements, brand partnership agreements, supplier contracts, and marketplace/brand collaboration arrangements.
•Support marketing compliance, including advertising regulatory requirements (ASA, CAP, consumer protection), influencer/talent agreements, prize promotions, and consumer-facing terms.
•Advise on supply chain contracts (logistics and warehousing) and property-related matters, and advise on sustainability-related regulatory requirements including green claims and ESG reporting obligations.
•Identify legal risks and issues for escalation, manage and support legal/commercial aspects of critical projects, and help prepare and deliver training to the legal team and business.

Key Requirements

•General commercial legal experience advising and negotiating commercial contracts from private practice or in-house roles.
•PQE Qualified Solicitor with relevant experience.
•Experience working in a fast-paced, growing, agile, in-house commercial environment.
•Ability to give commercial as well as legal advice, including identifying risks and matters needing escalation.
•Strong communication skills and an approachable, adaptable style for working with diverse stakeholders across geographies.
