Key Responsibilities

  • •Provide strategic leadership across BD&O, with a focus on supporting Pension Risk Transfer (PRT) strategy and executive-level decision making.
  • •Act as a trusted partner to the Director of BD&O, ensuring alignment with corporate objectives through governance, financial oversight, and workforce planning.
  • •Own BD&O communications on strategy and business topics, including senior leadership team meetings and downwards cascade of relevant information.
  • •Coordinate enterprise/board governance engagement, oversee board paper submissions, and produce functional papers for relevant committees.
  • •Partner with Finance and HR to manage BD&O KPI reporting, expense budgets, cost savings, and org design/people capability; support transformation, risk/control reviews, and PRT market engagement materials.

Key Requirements

  • •Previous experience working across multiple financial specialisms such as Asset Management, BPA, Investments and Individual Annuities.
  • •Skilled in preparing Board-level materials, executive briefings, and strategic insights.
  • •Strong understanding of financial products, services, and regulatory frameworks within Asset Management, Pensions, BPA, Annuities & Client Services.
  • •Strong grasp of financial drivers, cost-benefit analysis, and value creation, including interpreting data and tracking performance.
  • •Degree in Business/Finance or a similar field (or equivalent qualification).
