Key Responsibilities

  • •Maintain and repair outside plant cable infrastructure, including MH/HH, conduit, copper, coax, and fiber systems
  • •Conduct site surveys, produce weekly reports, and develop maintenance plans
  • •Ensure compliance with JSP and relevant TIA/EIA/ANSI standards and industry best practices
  • •Provide 24/7/365 break/fix support for outside plant systems within JSP purview
  • •Plan outside plant pathways for federal/local government agencies and maintain accurate OSP documentation and configuration management data

Key Requirements

  • •Active Top Secret clearance (SCI eligible)
  • •Associates degree and 3+ years of outside plant infrastructure experience (or a combination totaling 5 years)
  • •Knowledge of BICSI standards and NEC/IEEE/EIA/TIA codes with understanding of structured cabling systems
  • •Experience with fusion and mechanical fiber splicing and OTDR testing
  • •Proficiency with AutoCAD and Microsoft Visio; ability to lift up to 75 lbs and conduct site walks
