Key Responsibilities

  • •Lead engineering drawing preparation using WSP CAD standards and templates.
  • •Develop CAD/BIM templates and libraries and agree priorities and deadlines with project engineering stakeholders.
  • •Create detailed civil highway drawings using MicroStation, ORD, and Civil 3D, and review for compliance with client drafting standards.
  • •Review engineers’ sketches and design team drawings to identify conflicts, missing information, or unbuildable details.
  • •Provide technical support to CAD/BIM technicians and embed Health & Safety into all work practices in line with company policies.

Key Requirements

  • •10+ years of relevant experience as a Senior BIM/CAD Technician specializing in Highways, Drainage modelling and drafting of Civils.
  • •Mandatory: Diploma in Civil Engineering with a minimum of 10 years of relevant experience (or B Tech. Civil).
  • •Experience with Autodesk software including AutoCAD, Civil 3D, Navisworks, BIM 360.
  • •Proficient in Bentley MicroStation and ORD, plus Highway Engineering knowledge.
  • •Experience with international projects and the ability to meet deadlines while managing multiple projects.
