Proactively solicit residential mortgage business by building and maintaining a referral network of real estate professionals, builders, and other centers of influence. Assist clients with selecting loan programs, completing applications, and delivering required disclosures. Evaluate loan requests by analyzing financial data, structuring loans to meet lending guidelines, and maintaining compliant processes through the full loan cycle. Promote and cross-sell related products while executing marketing and networking plans.

Key Responsibilities

•Proactively solicit new residential mortgage business and maintain a referral network for recurring loan opportunities.
•Assist clients in selecting appropriate loan programs and complete mortgage applications for processing and underwriting.
•Provide required initial disclosures within compliance timeframes and ensure familiarity with applicable compliance regulations and policies.
•Evaluate loan requests by analyzing financial data and determining qualification of collateral and client credit history.
•Structure loans to comply with lending practices and federal/state regulations while maintaining client contact throughout the process.

Key Requirements

•Two (2) years of mortgage lending experience with proven mortgage production.
•FHA/VA experience required.
•Knowledge of federal and state regulations regarding lending and consumer disclosure requirements.
•Excellent knowledge of agency guidelines and underwriting requirements.
•Proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel with strong communication and customer service skills.
