Key Responsibilities

  • •Use safe working practices and wear proper protective equipment while operating in the compounding operation.
  • •Set up mixer/conveying system, connect equipment to the proper input, and pump to the correct silo to produce compound for production.
  • •Periodically check and zero weigh scales; recognize ingredients visually and weigh materials accurately to required formulations and proper order.
  • •Handle raw materials and supply the blender using bucket-weighed materials; operate a forklift in tight areas and stock materials per operating policy.
  • •Perform routine inspections, write work orders for repairs, maintain blend levels, complete paperwork, and keep the work area neat and clean.
