Key Responsibilities

•Deliver meaningful communication and engagement strategies to help our clients deliver infrastructure projects around the UK by drafting and delivering effective stakeholder engagement strategies.
•Plan and deliver engagement and consultation activities, including developing engagement strategies and producing a range of consultation materials.
•Work in conjunction with multi-disciplinary teams to translate technical information into plain English.
•Help to prepare Town & Country Planning Act applications for infrastructure projects across the UK, and prepare consenting inputs on major infrastructure projects.
•Provide technical advice to clients and support managing their consenting requirements.

Key Requirements

•Postgraduate qualification in Urban Planning / Public Policy / Economics / Statistics, or Management / Social Studies relevant subject with more than 7 years’ experience (preferably UK/Australia/Similar region).
•Demonstrable experience delivering engagement and consultation activity on multidisciplinary infrastructure projects.
•Experience in the road, rail, utilities, water, environment or energy sectors.
•Strong knowledge of UK political structures, consenting processes and requirements.
•Outstanding communication skills, including developing engagement strategies and reports, and the ability to translate technical information into accessible content for different audiences.
