Key Responsibilities

  • •Act as a structural analysis lead for Boeing 787 fuselage primary structure, advising, reviewing, and signing technical documents.
  • •Perform stress analysis using classical hand analysis, finite element methods/tools, and/or dynamic simulation methods/tools.
  • •Review and provide lead signature for technical oversight of supplier documents including engineering drawings, analysis, test plans, procedures, and reports.
  • •Develop and document structural requirements, coordinate loads and boundary conditions across engineering groups, and guide structural integrity verification throughout the product lifecycle.
  • •Lead development of test plans/configurations, support test execution, analyze/report results, and develop certification/test documentation; also investigate in-service failures and recommend improvements.

Key Requirements

  • •BS degree in Engineering with a focus on Mechanical, Civil, Aerospace Aeronautical, or Material Sciences.
  • •5+ years performing stress analysis on fuselage or related structures.
  • •3+ years performing stress analysis on composite structures.
  • •Prior experience with aircraft, heavy structures, hardware systems, or interiors manufacturing/production systems.
