Key Responsibilities

  • •Embed with ISV engineering teams to adapt to their codebase, practices, release cadence, and product architecture constraints.
  • •Design and build MongoDB-backed product capabilities such as integrations, data models, indexes, queries, persistence layers, and migration tooling.
  • •Implement coexistence and migration solutions including synchronization, change data capture (CDC), dual writes, consistency, refactoring, validation, and controlled cutover.
  • •Create production-ready solutions for performance, scalability, resilience, observability, security, and operational readiness across varied deployment environments.
  • •Enable partner engineers via collaborative development, code reviews, documentation, and knowledge sharing while resolving design questions with internal teams.

Key Requirements

  • •5+ years of hands-on backend engineering experience building and operating production applications.
  • •Strong application-side expertise with MongoDB, including data modeling, access patterns, aggregation, indexing, transactions, change streams, and query/transaction semantics.
  • •Fluency with at least one major relational database, including data modeling, access patterns, drivers/ORMs, indexing, transactions, query planning, and transaction isolation assumptions.
  • •Experience integrating a database into a large production codebase and migrating workloads, including persistence abstractions, synchronization/CDC, dual-write patterns, refactoring, validation, and incremental rollout.
  • •Strong coding ability in at least two languages (Java, C#/.NET, Node.js/TypeScript, Python, or Go) with APIs, distributed systems, containers, and cloud/self-managed deployment environments.
