Job Summary

Maintain and support pipeline operations by reading and interpreting drawings, inspecting and supervising equipment, and following operational/maintenance standards and governmental requirements. Analyze operational data to troubleshoot technical issues, keep accurate logs and reports, and maintain preventative maintenance performance. You’ll also ensure safe facility operations, comply with permits and safety practices, and stay prepared for after-hours/on-call and potential overnight travel between company locations.

•Safely maintain equipment and support pipeline operations, including reading/interpreting drawings, inspecting/supervising equipment, and maintaining operating and technical standards and/or governmental requirements.
•Analyze operational data and collaborate to resolve technical or operational problems.
•Follow company policies and apply appropriate operating and maintenance procedures.
•Acquire knowledge of and adhere to safe and efficient facility operation requirements, including protection of community, personnel, environment, and assets.
•Complete assigned reports and logs, maintaining accurate records of process operations and preventative maintenance performance.

Key Requirements

•High school diploma/GED (Operations Technician I) or high school diploma/GED plus at least 2 years related experience and at least 1 year as a technician in the oil and gas industry (Operations Technician II).
•Preferred: associates or a two-year technical degree.
•Willingness to work extreme temperatures, in enclosed spaces, and perform physical tasks including lifting up to 50 lbs and working in elevated locations with appropriate PPE.
•Must possess a valid state driver’s license and maintain a clean driving record.
•Proficiency in Microsoft Office and PC skills, with knowledge of process control systems and programmable logic controllers (PLCs).
