Key Responsibilities

  • •Provide strategic advice for development of the Health Sector Investment Strategy and Medium-Term Investment Framework.
  • •Lead development of governance arrangements supporting health sector capital investment planning, prioritization, and delivery.
  • •Provide strategic oversight and technical review of WHO analytical products related to investment planning, project preparation, prioritization, appraisal, and financing.
  • •Lead policy dialogue with the Ministry of Health, IFIs, and development partners on health sector recovery and capital investments.
  • •Contribute to WHO publications and technical reports, including presentations and technical materials for national and international audiences.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: USD 68,750 monthly

Key Requirements

  • •Advanced university degree (Master's or higher) in health economics, economics, public finance, public policy, health policy, public administration, or a relevant discipline.
  • •At least 10 years of international experience in health financing, public investment management, health economics, health system recovery, or health systems strengthening.
  • •Demonstrated experience advising governments on health financing reforms, capital investment planning, or health sector governance.
  • •Experience preparing analytical reports, policy papers, or international publications.
  • •Excellent analytical and strategic thinking, with strong policy analysis and report-writing skills.
