Key Responsibilities

  • •Stabilize and map the current operational toil; embed with the team to understand deployments, upgrades, and incident response, including on-site support for airgapped customers
  • •Automate operational burdens by writing code, building tooling, and deploying declarative infrastructure to reduce manual tasks and pages
  • •Lead incident response and crisis stabilization as a skilled incident leader while designing durable, long-term solutions
  • •Collaborate with internal tools, platform, and product engineering teams to ensure tooling meets operational needs and reduces support effort
  • •Drive phase-based progression from reactive execution to proactive design, delivering measurable reductions in manual tasks and escalations

Key Requirements

  • •3+ years of Site Reliability Engineering or closely related DevOps function with strong Linux administration and networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, DNS, routing)
  • •experience working directly with external customers to solve difficult technical problems with clear, empathetic communication
  • •production experience with AWS (VPC, EC2, IAM, S3) and using Terraform and CI/CD pipelines to automate infrastructure delivery to remote or secure environments
  • •hands-on experience instrumenting applications and managing telemetry pipelines for metrics, logs, and traces, and defining SLOs
  • •proficiency in coding to automate operational tasks with Python or Go and strong shell scripting (Bash)
