Key Responsibilities

  • •Safely operate tractor-trailer trucks, straight body trucks, forklifts, pallet jacks, and floor jacks.
  • •Move trailers between shipping/receiving dock areas and maintain trailer yard inventory with accurate trip reports.
  • •Perform required DOT and company pre-trip inspections, maintain logs, and place required shipping documentation on trailers.
  • •Inspect trailer loads to ensure products are properly secured before closing/sealing and support product transfers when needed.
  • •Maintain dock areas and grounds (debris removal, sweeping, snow/ice removal, inspecting restraints/dock equipment) and assist with warehouse/inventory control projects.
