Job Summary

Lead residential solar installation teams to complete projects safely and efficiently. You’ll review truck inventory, layout and assemble solar components and mounts, apply weather sealing, ensure clean job sites, and coordinate crew work daily. Serve as an acting foreperson when needed, support fellow installers with technical guidance, and assist with solar battery installations while following mandatory training and safety policies.

Key Responsibilities

•Guide and coordinate fellow installers daily to complete residential solar installation projects.
•Review inventory at the loading dock to ensure the assigned crew truck is stocked adequately.
•Layout and assemble solar modules, mounts, electrical equipment, and tools; apply weather sealing as required.
•Assemble racking and structures per project plans, ensure a clean and orderly job site, and perform project clean-up.
•Maintain personal, crew, and job site safety; participate in mandatory training; provide leadership and technical support, and assist with solar battery installations when assigned.

Travel: Low travel

Pay and Benefits

Salary: USD 27.6 - 36.8 hourly

Key Requirements

•High school diploma or equivalent.
•Previous solar installation experience required; equivalent construction or military experience may be considered.
•Must be 21 years of age, have a valid driver’s license, and maintain a clean driving record able to pass a driving background check.
•Adhere to company safety policies and procedures, including identifying and reporting safety hazards and encouraging others to work safely.
•Ability to lead effectively, meet deadlines and key metrics, and participate in Power+ cross-training programs.
