Key Responsibilities

  • •Develop electrical designs through feasibility to detail design using sketches, standards, and design criteria.
  • •Prepare day-to-day electrical deliverables to support efficient facility design considering constructability, safety, and cost.
  • •Create equipment general arrangements, one-lines, schematics, plans, wiring diagrams, and installation details.
  • •Prepare bills of materials and quantity takeoffs and manage data through the project life cycle.
  • •Coordinate with clients and multidisciplinary teams (including remote staff), including kickoff and design reviews, and support site walkdowns as needed.

Key Requirements

  • •BA/BS with 4 years of relevant experience or AA/AS with 6 years of relevant solar PV and BESS experience.
  • •High level electrical design and CAD skills with technical competency.
  • •Experience creating drawings (e.g., power plans and wiring schematics) with limited direction.
  • •Demonstrated experience with AutoCAD 3D modeling environments (e.g., Plant3D, CadWorx, Revit, ReCap).
  • •Knowledge of industry standards (e.g., NEC/NFPA 70, OSHA 1910) for US electrical and instrument infrastructure and networks.
