Key Responsibilities

  • •Own a ground station hardware project (electrical and mechanical) from design through production and field deployment.
  • •Gain hands-on experience building complex ground support equipment (GSE), wire harnesses, and GSE test setups.
  • •Support ongoing site operations by identifying, troubleshooting, and solving issues for customer-serving ground stations.
  • •Partner closely with mentors and electrical, mechanical, software, and manufacturing engineers to complete projects.
  • •Learn and tackle real-world problems with exposure to field deployment and operations.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: USD 36 hourly

Key Requirements

  • •Enrolled in a bachelor’s or graduate level program in electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, or a related field.
  • •Ability to relocate to Los Angeles, CA for 12 weeks during Summer 2026.
  • •Ability to work in a professional team environment with direct communication with engineers, management, technicians, and external companies.
  • •Prior applicable experience designing, building, and testing complex electrical and mechanical systems (preferred).
  • •GPA of 3.5 or above and/or involvement in leadership or competitions (preferred).
