Key Responsibilities

  • •Build, maintain, enhance, and document annuity cashflow and pricing models (Individual and Bulk Purchase).
  • •Contribute to modelling methodology decisions across areas such as valuation, reinsurance & structuring, longevity experience analysis, and Solvency II capital.
  • •Develop and integrate services for analytics and reporting using AWS, Python, Rust, Beacon, and Snowflake.
  • •Follow the defined software development lifecycle (SDLC), including controls, tests, and development best practice.
  • •Monitor, improve, and support platform performance by identifying and resolving issues to maintain reliability.

Key Requirements

  • •University degree (ideally a Masters’ or higher) in Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Finance, Actuarial Science, Engineering, Physics, or a related field.
  • •Experience with programming (e.g., Python) and evidence of excellent problem-solving in an analytical field.
  • •Knowledge of Life Insurance, including Solvency II and IFRS 17.
  • •Product knowledge of Individual Annuities and Bulk Purchase Annuities.
  • •Desirable: experience with Rust or data/SQL/Snowflake and/or Beacon tooling; also cloud development experience (e.g., AWS/Azure) and software development lifecycle best practice.
