Key Responsibilities

  • •Lead geometric and detailed design for major highway infrastructure projects across project stages.
  • •Review and approve highway design calculations, drawings, reports, and specifications; run design reviews and technical workshops.
  • •Lead Value Engineering studies and design optimization exercises while resolving complex engineering issues during delivery.
  • •Plan and manage assigned design packages, monitor schedules and resources, coordinate interfaces, and support project/program reporting.
  • •Serve as the technical point of contact for clients and authorities; mentor junior staff and ensure compliance with quality management and governance.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering; Master's degree desirable.
  • •8–12 years of highway design experience delivering major highway projects.
  • •Extensive experience delivering major highway projects with strong UAE experience.
  • •Strong knowledge of RTA road design standards, Dubai Municipality standards, and AASHTO; familiarity with local authority approval processes.
  • •Proficiency with Bentley OpenRoads Designer, Civil 3D, MicroStation, AutoCAD, ProjectWise, Bluebeam, and Microsoft Office; BIM collaboration experience is highly desirable.
