Key Responsibilities

  • •Manage health, safety, and environmental arrangements for the project in line with WSP HSEQ Management System requirements.
  • •Manage HSE Inspectors to ensure health and safety monitoring at site level according to legal and client requirements.
  • •Develop and deliver HSE training for employees, including induction and safe working practices.
  • •Review and approve contractor HSE plans, risk assessments, and method statements before work begins.
  • •Plan site visits, conduct weekly joint HSE inspections, run emergency response plans and drills, and ensure corrective actions are closed out.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor's degree or diploma in Occupational Health & Safety, Environmental Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • •Proven experience in an HSE leadership role, preferably in construction or engineering.
  • •In-depth knowledge of HSE regulations and best practices, particularly in the Middle East.
  • •Strong communication and interpersonal skills to influence stakeholders at all levels.
  • •NEBOSH (or equivalent) is highly desirable; must hold SCE in Health & Safety domain.
