Key Responsibilities

  • •Lead the preliminary and detailed design of bridges and other civil structures for federal, provincial and municipal clients in Ontario and Canada
  • •Perform and coordinate structural analysis and design
  • •Manage bridge engineering projects, coordinate design teams, and support project management and technical teams across WSP
  • •Prepare engineering drawings, specifications and reports
  • •Provide QA/QC and peer-review services for designs and drawings

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent
  • •Professional Engineer licenced with PEO and 7-12 years of demonstrated experience in structural design and bridge engineering in Canada
  • •Master's degree in Structural Engineering is considered an asset
  • •Ability to work and converse in French is considered an asset
  • •Proficiency in structural analysis software and knowledge of current Canadian bridge codes and standards
