Job Summary

Lead the design and development of next-generation product data platforms, setting system architecture, service design, and data flows for scalable, reliable real-time delivery. Build and enhance core platform components including APIs, data pipelines, ingestion, transformation, indexing, storage, and lifecycle management. Architect distributed, event-driven systems under scale and failure while improving performance, observability, and operational readiness. Partner with product and engineering teams and mentor technical leads through design reviews and code guidance.

Key Responsibilities

•Lead the architecture of new data platforms supporting current and future product capabilities.
•Design scalable, reliable, and maintainable systems across ingestion, processing, storage, APIs, and real-time delivery.
•Contribute hands-on to core platform services, APIs, data pipelines, and infrastructure; prototype and bring capabilities to production.
•Architect distributed, real-time, event-driven systems and guide teams on concurrency, consistency, caching, replication, and fault tolerance.
•Improve performance, reliability, observability, and operational readiness, and lead technical design reviews and mentorship.

Key Requirements

•15+ years of professional software engineering experience with significant architecture responsibility.
•Proven experience designing and building distributed systems in production.
•Strong background in data platforms, real-time systems, event-driven architectures, or large-scale backend infrastructure.
•Expert-level programming experience in Java (or similar production-grade backend languages).
•Deep experience with Linux, systems engineering, performance tuning, production operations, and database/data modeling fundamentals.
